Alison McCauley is an accomplished marketer with 17 years of experience focused on positioning, brand strategy, market research, segmentation and go-to-market strategy. She has worked with top brands including Mastercard, Wells Fargo, First Data Corporation, the International Olympic Committee, HP, Oracle, Adobe and EMC, and is frequently called on by top tier venture funds to position their portfolio companies.

As the Senior Director of Corporate Positioning for PeopleSoft, Alison was responsible for working with executive management and across product, technology, and industry teams to develop and execute strong, consistent corporate positioning and messaging. At Kleiner-Perkins funded Portera and TPG-funded XOJET, Alison was responsible for launching the companies and building the corporate marketing function from the ground up. At the management consultancy Edgar, Dunn and Company, Alison ran strategic brand and marketing projects for Fortune 1000 companies. Alison holds both a BA in Psychology from and an MA in Sociology and Organizational Development from Stanford University.
